What qualifies as an abandoned order?
Not everybody who adds something to a cart makes it all the way through to purchase a product. Sometimes they give up along the way. Anytime a potential customer provides their contact information but doesn't complete the order, it is considered an abandoned cart.
When is an order considered recovered?
Orders that are completed after being abandoned and sent your cart recovery email are considered recovered.
How will I know if it’s working?
Beautiful Abandoned Cart Emails' reporting shows you which orders have been recovered after receiving an email and the revenue earned on that order. Plus you receive real time email notifications each time a cart is recovered.
How is the customer's email address known?
An order is abandoned only after the user has entered a valid email address on the checkout page. The email address that they entered on that page is used to email the abandoned order recovery email to.
Can Beautiful Abandoned Cart Emails see abandoned orders from before the app was installed?
Yes, you can choose to import up to 3 months of abandoned carts. Any emails to customers with abandoned carts older than this would have extremely low recovery rates.
Why can't I see any of my abandoned cart email results under my Shopify Abandoned Checkout page?
This app is independent of Shopify's abandoned checkout email and reporting. If you have Shopify's abandoned checkout email enabled, we suggest you disable it. You can come back here (under the Abandoned Orders tab) to view the results of your email.
